Hakuba Happo-one

Hi ya!

I moved to Hakuba Nagano last sunday, Where had winter olympic in 1998.

This photo is 2 days ago one, we hadn't had snow much. But since wednesday, its been snowing!

I was supporsed to go this morning, I was ready to go. Had wear all gears, put goggle on, wax on my snowboaed, yes!!

But, in my work, they just got 1 pass, so I gave it to Timmy. Dammit!!!!

Well, I'm gonna go to Jasco which is the most populer super market in Hakuba to buy some food maybe.

Rain forest and Hamakua coast

11th of October,

We left West coast, as soon as we got to East coast, even in the middle of Big island, it starts rain.

Trees are way too tall,

After a little nice wark in the rain forest, a huge water fall was shown up.

In Big island, West coast doesn't have much rain fall, maybe one.

But East coast has many river and water falls.

This water fall calls 'Akaka fall'.

This is hear Puna where we stayed 3 nights.

Big island and Kona

10 th of October,

We got to Kona Big island. We were lucky, we had booked a rental car but there was super busy so they had no economy car. We hired 2 up grade car for no extra fee.

There was Iron Man! That was the biggest competition of triathlon.

Through the busiest road, we got to the beach!

We both bought snorkel so just do it.

The water was so clean and beautiful, under the sea is so pretty.

We saw a turtle chilling out.

Sunset, a bit cloudy...

We stayed the nicest hotel in Big island.

It wasn't expensive but nice banboo furniture and friendly staff.

Hawaii and Pearl Harbor

I haven't been here in ages, cos a bit busy also a bit bothering me. But I change my mind, I should keep it for me.

8th of October,
I left Canada from Vancouver air port. Heading to Hawaii!

This is my first trip to Hawaii, I was so excited.
That day, our flight delayed becaouse the plain that we went with was from Calgary, then it was snowing in Calgary!
WE ARE GOING TO HAWAII!
NO SNOW, NO MORE COLD WEATHER!!



So, we got in Honolulu about mid night, but there was warm and nice. I had Locomoco for dinner, oops, it was pretty heavy meal for mid night, but was good :)

Next day, we went to Pearl Harbor.
Sad story, I'm not gonna say who did right things and who did wrong things, cos war made everyone crazy, I just prayed no more war forever.

I'm home!

I haven't been here in ages!! so lazy, haha.
well I finally got to home last friday, I've been Las Vegas, Whistler, Hawaii (Honolulu and Big island) then back to Japan. But I had a wedding for my friend in Nagano just next day I arrived.

Everything was super!! I enjoyed so much, no too much!!
I think I still got jetlug, so I'm gonna put some photos later.

Nice to come back home, I'll travel in Japan this time!!

Injured...

I got injured a couple weeks ago (again!!)

My surf board fin dug my leg.

It was so hurt and I went to hospital straight away then had some stitches.

Inside was 3 or 4, outside was 10 stitches!

2 days ago, Jeff took these off.

I've been big head so bad, I've been thinking about my jobs, next winter season, after winter, 2010, and more.

Also, sometimes I can't be bother to speak/write in English.

I feel better now, but still think of that.

I applyed some of jobs for winter.

I don't wanna do same things again, like a waitress or house keeping especially.

I wanna do something new. Manager would be nice, I wanna step up.

Well it takes forever to think about your future sometime, 'will see' is the best answer ever!

OK, I should stop thinking!

So I applyed some jobs.

1. B&B manager
2. Hilton Niseko Village F&B
3. Cafe manager at Niseko

hmmmmm this is hard choise, sound good, all of them.

I kind wanna do Hilton's, I guess.

By the way, I'm gonna go to Las Vegas this sunday for 5 days with Sylvie, I can't wait!!

danjon crab☆

jeff cought a couple crabs the other day.

He gave it to me tonight, so I made dinner which is

`Tomato cream danjon crab pasta`

yummmmmm♪

Kayaking to Meares Island

Me and Hannah went to Meares Island by kayak yesterday, the weather wasn't great, but not too cold, no wind. So it was good.

We kayak about 2 hours to get there, we stoped a lot of place.

Then, we walked big tree trail. This is one of them, pretty big. It is about 1000 years old!

This is inside of that tree. It's empty. You can get in there!

salmon roe

Today, Jeff came back home with salmon roe!!

I'm soooo happy, I know I'm japanese, ofcaouse I'm happy. This is a bit crazy for other people, you don't understand, how much we love those stuff.

Even for us, we can't eat like this, we need to clean them cos too oily.
See that white bit, there is oil every single roe.

Then what I did is like this! I put soy-sause, mirin, dashi. Then I have to wait till tomorrow or day after tomorrow.

ohhhhhh I can't wait!!

salmons and prawns were arrived.

My house mate Jeff who owns a fish and chips is a fisher man.

This is funny, I never met fisher man before even in Japan.

But here in Tofino, I'm living in his house.

He has been to Alaska for salmon and prawn and shrimp fishing.

He is still there, but he needed some space in his fishing boat for catching some fish.

So he send over his fish to here.

This is that box he send here, how huge it is!!

And so many salmon!!!! Those guys are pink salmon.

Also as you can see next to salmon, they are prawns.

They are headless, and super icy.

Good stuff!!

zuccini and beans

This is a beautiful ziccini!! I picked it up this morning.

This is pretty big, much more bigger than teaspoon.

Those guys are beans, I ate straight away after picked.

Taste so sweet and yummy!

Also, I got broccolis today.
Maybe denner for tonight is green vegges and garlic butter!!

virgin fall

Lara, Stacy, Sylvie, and me went to 'virgin fall' in Tofino yesterday after work. We took 1.5 hours drive from town to get there, just drive logging bumpy road heading to top.

It was beautifull, I wish we could camp there.

On the way to go top, we stoped every single view spots and took so many pictuers, and ate berrys a lot. We saw bear 'poo' but unfortunally, we couldn't see any bears.

It was really funny trip, in the begining, I lost my chocolate ber, I mean someone stole it! I think it was animal or bird, but it was king size and i just had one bite! dammit!!

I hit my head a couple time, we got bitten, and the end, we got flat tire!! oh no Lara's new car!

But we made it. Thanks for the awesome trip and driving Lara!!

DJ chicken... one day...

This is veggie garden and hens which i'm looking after them at the moment.

Veggie's are soy beans, zuccini, poteto, broccoli, lettuce, onion, beans, pampkin, and strawberrys.
I'm basically watering and weeding.
It's really nice to have veggies, they grew so quick.
And most of them are summer veggie so now nearly harvest.

I picked up some broccolis and beans today, and ate them. Taset like sweet!!
I love it.




And chickens are so funny, they lay eggs everyday about 3. So we never buy eggs.

They make so much noise, sounds like funny DJ.

One day, I want to have those guys!

Running shoes

This is my new running shoes and my legs.

I bought this a couple days ago finally. I really wanted running shoes long time, but hard to find nice one.

So, I've started to run for about 40 mins by the beach. it is really good!

I torn my knee, left side, ACL a couple month ago by snowboarding. It was painfull! I cried, ofcouse.

Anyway, after that happend, I needed physio, and exercise. I went to gym for riding bike (it was winter so i couldn't ride bike cos of snow!).

So now, I should start running!! I decided to do either running or surfing everyday.

But today... I was lazy... I didn't do neither... Oh no I feel o bad, I'm so lazy... I'll do that tomorrow!! We call like that person '三日坊主　mikka-bo-zu'. Yes it is me!! haha

Lone Cone Trail

The other day, we went to 'Lone Cone' for trekking.

It was hard, and so steep!

We have to get a boat first to go there about 10 mins from town, becouse this is a island.

Tofino where we are living, is beautiful place. so much nature here, rain forest, long beaches, tiny islands everywhere, many many animals (bear, raccoon, seal, sea lion, sea otter, and more!!).

But I've never seen bear yet unfortunally... I'm looking for it all the time, but they never show up. So if I won't be able to see them in this month, I'll do that tour names 'bear watching' so sad... here is canada, I should've seen them.

Well back to the trail.

This trail takes you to get the top about 2 and half hours.

Then this is view from top!! Beautiful isn't it?

Tofino is just in the middle in this photo, surf beach where we go is behind Tofino, maybe you can see a tiny white beach, there is.

Tofino has so many activities, like surfing, kayaking, walking, whale watching, bear watching, hot spring, fishing...

So if you'll be able to come soon, please let me know...

Oh, that sea as you can see in this photo, is 'Pacific Ocean'. So if you can swim to the other side, will be Japan!! haha

How cool is that!?

Today is my day off. woohoo!!

I went to surfin this morning, it was a bit small but that means perfect to me. Then, i could catch the waves but i couldn't stand up! just cos i forgot to put wax on, soooo slippy... Dammit!!

So, when I came home, I put wax on, then, hmmm i might do stecker on! so i put SK8RIDER's (sorry i can't explain about this, just we make fun snowboarding team long time ago, this is that name) steckers, 3 of them! I like it and I like this team, I haven't seen them in ages but I'm pretty sure those guys are doing awesome stuff all the time.

when I was surfin, I saw a boy or girl?? has a silver colour hair, sitting on the long board and waiting for the waves. I thought a freaky emo boy, haha. but actually she (it's a woman!) is a grandma!! Also near her, another man who wearing a hat, has white face (too much sun screan!) so you guess what? Her husband!! Oh my god, grannys are surfing! These guys are really good as well! I know some old man surf forever, but I had never seen grandma and grandpa surfin together, that was f*ckin awwwwesome!!

How cool is that!?

finally i started this kinda shit...

Hi guys!!

I always wondered i wanted to open this, but took me ages to do this, also still simple and... don't know... its not cool yet hey??

umm i try to do this cool and wicked stuff.

So, this time, i'm gonna use this ONLY English. To be honest, i'm still not good enough, so i will do wrong spelling, use stupid English..

But i'll write all about me and my travelling and snowboard/surfing, working, what i feel, music and all friends who i met and my boyfriend who i've been together since 2007.

That photo as u can see on top, there is London, i was having yorkshire pudding which is a classic english pub food. then, a guy next to me, he is Tim my boyfriend.
